Who We Are

We gather in hope of meeting with God Himself every single week at the Harriet and Joe Foster YMCA on 1234 W. 34th St. at 10 AM. We are a radically-inclusive, neighborhood-redefining, society-changing, Jesus-obsessed church. Because we think that’s just what Jesus intended.

We are a church that’s all about grace, love, and healing, especially in the nitty-gritty, messy, wounded, anxious world of everyday life. We lead with embrace. Because Jesus does too. The best part of Restore is its people—we love each other. Immediately before the service and for a long while after, our space is filled with the buzz of lively conversation.

Every Sunday we hear a message from God’s word, worship, and share communion. Come participate, come observe, or come ask your questions—just come as you are. Restore is a great place for absolutely anyone, no matter your age, race, lifestyle, or anything else. We want to meet you!

Our Pastor

Justin is the founder and lead pastor of Restore Houston. He started Restore to be a church that embodies the radically inclusive, life-giving, world-altering love of Jesus. Justin believes that Jesus is near to us always and Jesus earnestly desires to restore every chapter of our life through His grace. Justin’s heart is to see every person at Restore come to know Jesus as He is, warm and compassionate and full of joy, and to learn to rest in Him as their true home. Justin believes we can learn to trust God through the love we experience from others who belong to Jesus, and God is glorified as we learn to love and be loved, to know and be known, to see and be seen. He wants Restore to be a church that, like Jesus, continuously pours itself out for the sake of others.

Justin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University. He is currently completing his Master of Divinity from Pillar Seminary. Justin lives in Houston with his wife, Alyssa, and their little girl, Indie Florence. Alyssa serves as a social worker at Texas Children’s Hospital, and Indie enjoys ice cream, feeding ducks, and riding on Justin’s back.
